Getting a little higher now.
8x2 minute subs at ISO 400 stacked on the comet, ED80 @ f5.5, unmodified Pentax K-x on an EQ2.

Good job with the ED80 Kevin!
Still not an easy target.
Cheers,
Justin.
You picked up the tail very nicely mate....
I need a mobile rig, I've decided! :)

I need more aperture, more focal length and more speed. Wish I could point the SW120 to it. I don't think the EQ2 would like it.
I've done the 'more aperture, more focal length and more speed' sums myself.... the scope soon becomes something like a CDK700! :) keep putting those powerball entries in!

I could live with a CDK700. :) Look at what the 20" did for ISON. But it would be a waste here in cloudy Mackay.

Thanks Mick. Going by the sky I don't think I'll get it again before the moon interferes.
Got it Kevin.
Is it any brighter do you think, or just higher?

Not sure Rob, my last observation was on the 11th. http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=113090
Cloud and illness have prevented me from recent observations.
