Gallaxy Line Up (no sport,time,gravity..haircuts)

I have been interested in the "line up" of spiral gallaxies in relation to the great cosmic "walls". It seems that the "jets" of the spirals "line up" of a fashion. I wonder if the outflows via the jets line up, oppose each other or whatever, could their line up indicate a flow of matter or energy or both which demonstrates a relationship between the spirals.
That already covers more than I am certain upon however I would be interested if anyone has an interest in this aspect and share their input?

Further what is in the "voids"... void implies nothing but my views on nothing tells me that such a thing can not exsist, I believe there can only be space, so the question becomes what is the density of the space, are there photons passing thru or do these massive areas contain matter upon which the gallaxies in the walls somehow feed upon.

The walls of galaxies and voids from my limited understanding were caused by quantum fluctuations when the universe was only a poofteenth of a second old.

That is the thinking I believe. It seems a sort of fialament system appeared as a result and the gallaxies are within the remnants of these filaments forming now walls in effect. They say gallaxies formed early during inflation from there I suspect some sort of evolution to follow where mergers and groupings emerge. This observation (spiral line up) suggests something of a relationship not only to the early fluctuations but as I speculate but between the bodies present. For it is curious to find a lining up, given the distances between gallaxies one would not be unreasonable to envisage nothing special to be found... mmm just though of something ..how do the large elipticals fit in this sort of picture... maybe that is yet to be done..do they have a rotational axsis I wonder. Thank you for your input.

I don't think cosmologist's have all the answers yet. Because of the density variation across the universe some areas are bound to have more gravity. These areas of more gravity would pull galaxies and dark matter towards them despite the general expansion of the universe. That too would account for the charecteristic structure of the Universe :P

I am sure they dont have all the answers yet I cant wait so I figure my own outcomes:D .

Still cant get to the bottom of this but an anology of buttons on a string seems the way they see it, actually I suggested that one over eggs laying thru a window pane, if you think of the jets of the spiral as being the string and the button the disk. So if I am understanding it correctly thats how they see it.. Thats not definite I havent seen enough yet.

Well I am excited they travell like a pie in the face something I believed to be the case 2/3 years ago (yes I put it out there so I did not just make that up... they dont roll along like a wheel or spin aimlessly like a catherine wheel) ..read another anology beads on a necklace so it sounds as though the button approach is a fair one. Also saw a movie (sorry I forgot to keep the link but if you goggle University of Nottingham and get past their cave club it is there someplace) which demonstrates the proposition well... what does it all mean?
