The Trifid

Hi All,

My first image in almost 6 months, between work and poor weather not much has been done. But here is my latest, the Trifid nebula (NGC6514) captured from my backyard here in Canberra. :)

Captured over 25, 27, and 29th September 2013. Very windy but I got what I could.

FSQ106EDXIII and STT-8300M, LRGB 152:45:40:40 L(1x1) RGB(2x2).

Nice image hard target to miss grabbing some photons from.

I'm slightly west of Belconnen, out at Macgregor; to the west there is not much between me and the mountains. ;)

Using a Paramount MX, though it is not a permanent setup just yet. I need to drop a pier. The wind has been crazy the last few days.
