The Helix Nebula in Ha, Ha, OIII, OIII mapped as LRGB.

Six hours Ha, two hours OIII.

Nice detail Stuart. There looks to be some sharpening artefacts around a few stars inside the nebula. Not sure if you have sweet those. Colour is good too.

A very nice Helix, Stuart! Was that at f/3.6 with the ASA?

Hi Rick,

Yep, whatever the native FL of the ASA is with the corrector, which I believe to be f/3.6.

I noticed these just as I was about to post. I'm painting my house, so time off painting for processing images is short (I'm on a break now), might fix them up tonight.

A terrific image. The sharpening seems to have been done globally and its better to do it selectively. Normally you would not want your stars sharpened. Also dim areas as it increases grain and noise.

That's veRy good Stuart, I'm finding I need a lot more hrs than you to get the same depth and extension . The f3.5 sure helps there.
