Yep my new 350D turned up today. I gave it a test run on a few items. Have yet to use the 75-300 lens, and the fisheye lens I got today as well. I have two 1200mAh battteries to come and a battery grip. Lookout duckadang here I come. It will stay standard until the 12 months warranty is over then off to the doctors to get fixed:lol: ;) and emerge a true astro camera:D
No the pentax is not jealous, it will still live with the 50-500 APO lens and I have a flash unit for it. So its still a mixed bag.
My first image was when I parked near the doctors in town to get a check up I couldnt wait, so I snapped a crane. the others are the linup of mercury, saturn, mars and the moon.:D
oh and a 30 second snap carefully laid on the ground facing up of the southern cross.

So I guess you only wanted the 350d body and will probably sell the lens ???
I so let me know
Thanks for the compliment but I must say in the context, its impact is overpowering.. still I find it embarrassingly uplifting.
You have the gear to do most of what one would like to do so go enjoy yourself... I am sincerely happy for you.

You'll be pleased to know that I'm doing my bit to break the drought as well. I got my new 20x80Ts last week, and a PST today... it won't be clear day or night for weeks now.... so you can pass the buck on to me....

Whether it's the Canon or the Pentax your images are always a pleasure to look at David.
