Big winds

Had some big winds come through our way yesterday and they certainly left their mark on our property.

We had two trees blown over but thankfully nowhere near the house.

Also it ripped the sliding doors clean off my new greenhouse. :mad2: It looks like they were ripped clean from the roller mechanism.

I think they are repairable, I should be able to use some nuts and bolts to remount the roller wheels and then come up with a way to secure the doors and stop any further accidents.

Glad you didn't cop a tree on the house Ric.

After living on the eastern shore of Lake Jindabyne, I consider anything under 100 kph to be just a summer breeze, highest gust recorded by my weather station in Jindy : 181kph, now that was windy.

we are a bit protected as we are in a small valley our highest wind gust recorded has been 40kph nothing as scary as 181kph.

I found that a big branch also came down yesterday right next to my bee hives as well. I'm glad it didn't land on as things could have got real interesting trying to move them into a new hive. :D
