camping in Northern NSW

Hi, the new moon falls on the long weekend so I want to go camping somewhere dark. I have a few ideas already but wondered if anyone could suggest any camping spots. I dont mind paying for camping. Looks a good weekend for galaxy huntn. no cloud/no moon:D

Jas get hold of a Camps Book, and you will see thousands of free camps across all of OZ, where you can camp free in some of the darkest places on Earth. ;)

Thanks Leon. That's a good point. Given that we live in a massive country with no one in it, I bet we do have some of the darkest places on earth. And often right on our doorstep. :thumbsup:

I read a post on another forum recently by an American guy who reckons he has spent 50 years searching for the horsehead and found it recently. Where? Outback wa. Ozzie Ozzie Ozzie. :thumbsup:
