Hallelujah! :prey2:
Clear, dead calm and currently experiencing the best seeing I've seen at Wallaroo , average guide errors are consistently below 0.1 pix, guiding at 3"/pix that's better than +/- 0.3" in both axis, the guide star centroid plot clump is tiny :eyepop:....lucky because I am doing a distant galaxy cluster so fingers crossed this lasts :prey: .. I am currently picking up good detail inside 1/2 arc min size galaxies
Sorry....thanks for listening :hi: just thought I'd better balance out my past impromptu complaining about wind posts
Clear skies

Rub it in why don't you, Mike :) Seeing and light pollution are crap here as usual...

Yup, it's very still here, and great seeing, APART from the smoke, which is NOT moving, because it's still...
Always a negative side to everything. Away from the smoke, seeing is spectacular. Saturn tonight with the kids was INCREDIBLE. Venus' phasic crescent was so readily apparent and sharply delineated.
Just great, if only there wasn't smoke to the west of me.
Seeing in Newcastle tonight actually not too bad.... have had better, but also a lot worse.... :)

A strong front packing high winds is on its way for tomorrow morning so I'll take it when I can get it (just like sex) :D

Pouring rain in Melbourne town :( This has to be the worst year on record :/
The moon is going to spoil the fun very soon.... :(

Mike will have to make a LARGER sacrifice for a Lunar extinction.

The sky where I am is shocking. Seems clear but the transparency is awful. 47 Tuc looks like a mag 10 galaxy. No joy for the Intes tonight.

Yeah, it's deteriorated here significantly. NGC5139 is nothing but a FAINT smudge now.
Holding well here.... HFRs still decreasing....

My field is dropping lower in altitude now so guide errors have crept up to 0.15 pix, still acceptable I guess but 3hrs of good seeing was nice to grab. Ahhh the breeze has picked up now, only light but there was nothing before, will finish off when the moon gets up....love the dome
Hope those with clear skies had a good time :)

Last three imaging runs at Clayton have had guide corrections averaging around 0.04 to 0.2 which is very similar to what you had. Good seeing is often possible at Clayton and I often forget what sort of seeing I get there. I look forward to your results with this type of seeing. I take it you were doing Luminance at the time?
