I've been in "lockdown" nights and weekends last few weeks putting together my latest and 31st photographic exhibition, "Something Old, Something New." I spent yesterday hanging it. The exhibition opens tomorrow night, 6pm at the Huw Davies Gallery at PhotoAccess, cnr NSW crescent and Manuka Circle. Next to the Manuka Pool and Manuka Oval.
This is not an astrophotography exhibition. The exhibition is composed of three folios. One folio is of older work, pictures of Paris, the last big body of work I captured on film before switching to digital. The other two, called Desiccate and rehydrate capture the Lake Eyre Basin in drought and during the 2011 flood event when the lake filled to 85% capacity, the biggest flood event since 1973.
All welcome at the opening or to visit the gallery during the next three weeks - Sept 26th - October 13th.
Gallery Hours : - Mon closed
Tuesday-Fri : 10am-4pm
Sat/Sun : midday-4pm
Closed October long weekend
I'll be in the gallery on the two Sunday's of Sept 29th and October 13th from 12pm-4pm. If you live in the region, or are just visiting, drop in and say hi!
Cheers
