Hi all!!
Inspired by Mike's image of NGC253, I went back and reprocessed my data from 2012 using my new RGB debayer ratio in DSS, the new Colour module in StarTools and Jay Gabany's LAB colour enhancement technique.
I'm now convinced that despite the UHC-S filter I use imaging here from my light polluted backyard 12kms from the centre of Brisbane, I can get images that are full of colour!
I took this image about this time last year using my QHY8L and my 8" f/6 newt. It's a stack of 30x5 minute subs and I've also attached my previous attempt at reprocessing.
Me thinks I'm getting the hang of this lark! :D
Cheers,
Mario
