Withdrawn so I can try and get the camera looked at or serviced
Sorry ( was small amount of interest only)
Hello, since I have an SX OSC and an SBIG, I don't need this camera. It is the older style square camera with cooling that cannot be set point- i.e it is either on or off I think.
I bought this from a guy on IIS two years ago and have had fun with it.
There is a mark on the glass which I can't get off with cleaning that subtracts with flat fielding.
I will add some pictures later as I can't remember my flicka password now and am at work.
6Mp sensor, usual specs
I will sell at $650 due to mark on glass.
NB I have replaced the power adaptor with a new one from QHY last year.
PM me and I will attach piccies of the glass./ pics/calibration frames etc.
Or any questions
Graham

Just to add some flesh to the bones, it was bought by me from IIS and comes with the dew heater ring (which I have never used).
If you want to see the darks and flats please send me an email to graham.hobart@bigpond.com
as they are large tif files from MaximDl.
The flats are paper over the camera pointed at a light so not ideal but its raining so what can I do!!
Post is not included by the way
Cheers

The software can be downloaded from the QHY website and this camera can be operated via Maxim or Nebulosity or PHD or even APT.

Just to add the info- when I look and inspect the glass and the sensor under a bright light it looks clean apart from a few dust spots which can be blown off.
However when you do a flat field a blob sits right in the middle.
I will try and do some subs and ff's this weekend if the rain stops - to show what I mean.

Sorry mate- have been a tad busy getting a baby room sorted out for impending birth , plus weather has been crappy. Will try and do this week - have two days off to sort it.
My apologies

This is a single flat done with a light panel 0.5sec -I ran the cooler for 25 minutes first.
The second is a single 300sec dark - both acquired with nebulosity.
You can see the blobs on the flat.
Graham
Hasn't sold but I think people were waiting for the darks/flats

Hi Graham,
Yours is in better condition than mine by the looks of things.
Can I buy yours?
I assume the blobs are the scratches you mentioned - is that right?
Simon.

I am withdrawing this as no real offers and I am going to try and get the camera serviced.
