Yesterday afternoon I colsulted Star Atlas Pro for the location of planetary nebula Shapley 1 to image. The chart shows another Pn nearby that would fit in if I composed the image right. On dark, I located the area, took some short iso1600 test shots to confirm, then began imaging.
13x5 mins (1 hr 5 mins total time), at ISO 800 (upon seeing Striker getting great results shooting many short ISO 800 shots @f10) I was hoping Id do well shooting at F5.6 through the UHCS filter.

I thought Shapley 1 was a faint Planetary, but its positively bright compared to VBRC 7. Im stoked I got both in the one frame. I cant recall ever seeing SP1 in an image with another planetary :)
Conditions were among the best Ive ever seen. Dark sky, and VERY good seeing, often the guidestar would sit in the recticle as if nailed there.
Off axis hand guided. 10 inch F5.6 scope with recently recoated mirror, UV/IR and UHCS filter, and MPCC coma corrector. Processed in IRIS and PS
