Some stills from the onboard video camera
of my RC glider today.
I knew pointing the camera backwards during nesting season
would get some interesting stuff :)
Edit: 1st video: uploaded but recvd utube infringement notice
about kenny leggins (sic) audio :)

Very good, you should offer those shots on the local media somewhere.
Your RC plane needs one of these

cool pics steve :),I know I guy who flys a hang glider around st Helena above Byron bay and he tells me one of the two wedgetails that live in the area sometimes attacks the gliders,he never sees the bird before it hits ,just arrives in a flury of screeching anger, and just to prove who really owns the skys one time it began to hook in and started tearing the fabric on his glider.
Great stuff Steve

Great stuff Steve. That would be the Morphett Vale High School oval if i'm not mistaken ;) (I used to live next to the school)

Not sure of the name of the school Richard, but we call it the
Reynella rocket proving range / thermal glider and general RC aviation
strip :D
A great oval, the equivalent of about 3 x typical school ovals in size.
Lots of room for error for bad pilots :)

yep - that sounds about right ;) The radio transmission tower on Sheriff’s Rd is very distinctive that's for sure.
