Good morning all!!

It appears Voyager 1 has left the Heliosphere and is now in interstellar space. Godspeed on your journey into the unknown V'Ger...

Voyager 1 leaves the Solar System (http://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/technology/sci-tech/voyager-1-exits-solar-system-in-breathtaking-achievement-36-years-after-launch-20130913-2to2h.html)

Cheers,
Mario

PS V'Ger from Star Trek was actually Voyager 6 - was there even a Voyager 6?

Thanks for the article....WOW...what a ride V'ger has in front of her....to keep going on forever....and at 38,000mph.

speed of sound at sea level = 761.207051 miles per hour

Voyager is travelling through space at 50x the speed of Sound.....

...which is not even a dimple in the speed of light though Col :) And she has actually slowed a little.

Now we eagerly await New Horizons.
