Hi,

I have just got astraimage up and running, and this is the first attempt at deconvolution etc. etc.

Still got plenty to come from that night.

Used LR deconvolution blue=3 & 5 green=3 & 2 red=3 & 2

Here is another tried with VC deconvolution of 2 & .01 on all three channels.

Must admit the VC decon image I think had too much waveletts to start with. Here is another with ME 3 and 0.5.

Nice ones. It's a matter of finding/hitting apon the right combo on each image in Astraimage. Sometimes it can never be found.

Still working out what the different deconvolutions do, I think the VC is more contrasty than the other two. The Astraimage chap that I registered through advice me of version 3 that will be available shortly. Just what we need another 15 deconvolutions.:rofl:

I love the last one Lester, definitely the best combination of detail and size.

however I don't know what to say about that colour! It's waaaay too saturated. Do you mind if I try and correct it a bit? Though i'm not sure I can do much on the jpeg. Would probably need the original avi.

The VC deconv can be very harsh, it's made your image look a bit grainy but there's some fine detail.

Hi Mike,

The last image hasn't had any VC decon. only ME and LR. Yes you can play around with any of my images. I wish I could send you my avis, but after trying to down load one of David's some time ago, which took 1.5 hours and then no luck. No broad band here just ISDN, which is quicker than dial up but still way slower than Broad Band.
