Hi Guys,

Was bored tonight clouds everywhere so decided to reprocess the Keyhole from last week sometime.

Gee's, never knew i overprocessed the image until now. I think too much time infront of my comp really stuffs my eye sight up. :scared2:

The previous ETA from the DSI II is here (right hand side)

Please tell me that this one is better so i can readjust my eyesight to it :D

M8 after below:

A huge difference with M8. I think i concentrate too much to bring out the details but overly processed them at the same time.

okkk you guys get the drift :P a big slap in my face and these were done only 10-15 minutes from the original stacked images. Previously, takes me a good hour or two for one "overly processed" image :D

Yes this looks good Ezy!

Here is my version of the Keyhole and it is pretty close to your colour balance now :-)

there seems to a fine balance really... over processing does bring out more detail, but it doesnt look as good. detail vs asthetics... who wins?

:hi: I dont think the problem lies with the processing you are simply spending too much time indoors:D .
I know what you are going thru I spend hours "adjusting" them to the point where you dont know anymore:shrug: ... thats when you should take the dog for a walk:lol:   .
As to the photos they are all have individual merit and you should love them all

 I think with the overly processed images it looks too crayon? but more details? that confuses me

thanks alex. we all been there i guess. spending hours doing little adjustments but then our eyes got so used to the image that we cant see if it is good or not
cheers for your comments, personally, i think the new ones are more photo realistic :P i guess my excuse is new camera... don't know :)
