What a nice compliment! Thank you very much JJJ.
Thanks Rick.
Cheers Marc.
Its hard to capture how it looked as the Moon of course is very bright.
I also took a longish exposure Milky Way Panorama of it as it happened to be almost exactly under the middle of the Milky Way arch. Yet to be processed.

I was extremely disappointed i missed this :( Melbourne has been covered in cloud for days on end!
But that is an amazing image Greg!

Thanks Sean.
I also did a Milky Way long exposure panorama with this at the central point under the Milky Way arch. I'll be processing it soon and I think that should be quite a nice image.
Its one of those opportunities that arose I did not plan for but immediately thought I needed to capitalise on. A rare opportunity of things coming together - clear perfect dark skies, super seeing, no clouds after several nights of high cloud weather. Sometimes the clear sky Gods smile on you!

Lovely image Greg, an example of a realistic looking night scape, I feel like I am there when I look at it
