Camp Fire Under Milky Way

I took this photo on the weekend just gone at Neurum Creek - about an hour north of Brisbane. Great spot!

Great picture Tony. We camp at Neurum creek every Easter - it is a great spot.

I'd love to know what settings you used on your camera for this picture - ISO, exposure, f-stop etc?

I never seem to be able to capture the Milky Way like you have done, and I've tried all sorts of settings.

Thanks Greg! This shot was taken with a Nikon D7000, 30 sec exposure at 18mm, ISO 1250 at f3.5. Tidied up levels and minor tweaks to bring out milky way and tine down fire a little. A very dark sky was also very helpful.
