Hi all,
Had a go at NGC-6188/6193 last night before the cloud came, the nebulosity covers a really large area, and as the book says NGC-6188 is only 20 x 12 arc min. it must be the vertical bright bit in the centre only, NGC6193 is the open star cluster around the bright star (h4876),Has anyone else had a go at this area (Const. ARA the Altar).
Pix.-5 x 6 Min.Exp. DF removed, ISO-800- ED80+Canon(Mod.) guided with 10" sct+MX7C.
cheers.....Jim
