Does anyone modify 350d,s here

Have a stock 350d, would like to remove ir filter and replace with clear, so that the camera can still be used for everyday photogrophay, autofocus still working. and an external IR filter....Anyone do that in Australia. or a least know where I can get the iddy bit of glass to replace, the ir filter. and Ill have a crack at it myself. "hands shaking in anticipation". What can possibly go wrong :whistle:

I know a few other IIS members have done it themselves, or some have just bought the hutech one already done. I know Photoncollector and Robby have done their own, [1ponders] is planning to do it, I got my 300D from Robby, he also used the Russian firmware hack for the 300D. The 350D may be similar to modify?

Hey Thanks h0ughy....where did the boys get the replacement glass from for the sensor front, do you know, or does there autofocus no longer work. I mean after all if you only useing it for astrophotography, who needs autofocus..
