The ISStation on her pass-over (6th Sept '13) SE Qld from a NW to SSE direction, 77deg max Alt & -3.2 magnitude. Typical rush set-up & baffled why focus wasN't happening untill a well disquised Focus train spacer caught the eye :confused2: change-over, turned scope on Venus to focus and saw ISS incoming, keep cool, focus, have 1min 30sec'ish 'till max Alt , ,

Here's a piccy anyway :P

If you consider it only has a 73m wingspan, is over 400 km away and moves at more than 7 km/s, that is an incredible capture!

Oh Bob I'm so glad you got back out there to image it- I was hoping you would!
Absolutely incredible capture, I just can't get over all that detail in those panels. :eyepop:
And as expected, like your last ISS image, this one has gone crazy on the IIS fb page too. They love your work Bob and you've got some beautiful comments in there. One of them from Peter Nauss was particularly touching I thought. He said, "...Bob, it's photos like yours that remind me how far we've come in 56 years! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Great shot, even if it was taken in some trepidation!

Now, how about a visit to the page here (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151850777496203&set=a.443095681202.235512.114571796 202&type=1&theater) and give your fans a few words? ;)

Great shot Bob. It still causes me to do a double-take when I realise that there are people living and working up there.
