They have theorised about this capability for years, to fabricate directly in space orbit. It would have to be so much more efficent.
Ok, all we have to do now is get bigger plans for the the 'Enterprise' and start lofting it up there ... :P

Just one (still big) step away from Startrek replicators. :) I find that amazing that they're also doing protesis and even scaffolds for skin grafts like ears cartilage replica, etc... and other incredible stuff now. Very cool times ahead indeed.
