Hey guys, for sale is my beautiful Meade Lightbridge dobsonian. With the scope I will be including:
Meade Series 4000 QX 26mm (2" 70°wide field) (came with the scope)
2" Extension tube (ditto)
The standard reflex site
Orion LaserMate Deluxe Collimator
Bintel 8x50 Correct Image Right Angled Finder
Orion Expanse 15mm eyepiece (66°)
Orion Expanse 20mm eyepiece (66°)

All of the accessories I purchased still have their original packaging, and the whole lot cost me $1550 back in January. Everything is in good condition with no scratches or smudges (although it is quite dusty ).

I'm willing to sell the lot for $650, and I will happily drive it anywhere within ~150km of Toowoomba, Queensland, if given a few bucks for fuel. Alternatively, you can pick it up from me, or meet me somewhere half way if you're pretty far out. Leave a reply or send a private message if you're interested :)

EDIT: Forgot to add images. I attempted to attach these but I received an error, http://imgur.com/a/Vqlfw (Sorry for the external link).
SECOND EDIT: Turns out my images were about 40 times too large (hence why they didn't attach). I'll leave the direct link above if you wish to see slightly higher quality images (although still heavily compressed)
THIRD EDIT: The Astronomik UHC filter has been sold, and the overall price reduced to $650

Hello, I will take it if its possible to be taken at my location, or delivery if possible, and how much do you need for fuel?

Thanks for the interest.
As far as freighting it goes I haven't looked into it, but I'll do a little research later today.
As for driving it, you're a good 9 hour drive from me, so I think I'll pass on that one.

Oh...lol thats quite a drive. Unfortunately transport is also a problem for me at the moment. Will freight charges be more than its supposed to be because of its weight?

I looked into the freight, and it would probably cost a little over $100, plus I would need to buy a bunch more bubble wrap, styrofoam and boxes. I honestly don't quite trust myself to pack that all 100% safely, but if you really want it that's the best option we have.

If that doesn't work out for any reason, I'd love to have it. I'm in Brisbane, and would happily come over to Toowoomba to pick it up.

Obviously, PostalRuhl has first dibs!

All the best,

Chaz

Thanks for the interest Chaz. I was speaking to Postal yesterday and I said the same thing, so I'll let him know somebody else is creeping in :P and get back to you sometime soon
