I said I'd be out if it was clear... well it wasn't really and I wasn't going to bother except I'd already setup the scope and had the cat-cooler in with temp sensor inserted as well. As darkness fell worst seeing I can remember 1/10... :scared: it did however creep up to a respectable 4-5/10 and I got a few shots in. Nothing compared to our SA pals, but better for me than the last couple of weeks.:)

A mighty fine effort given the conditions. Especially with the x4 Powermate!
Cheers
Dennis
PS - Have you placed your order for the 14" 'scope and Lumenera yet?

A fine shot for the conditions Rob, of which we had none up here.
BTW you do know you can get treatment now and there are support groups - JA

no need Paul, I'm a Jupiterphile and proud:D
Robert I really like this one, the colours seem vivid and has a nice image scale.
Looks great on my CRT.

yup, i like it.
last night when i was eyeballing and collimating, europa looked just like you have it. I can't ever remember being able to view the moons when the are in front of the planet. The seeing was great and razor sharp. THen the camera went in and the seeing went south!!!

Great effort Robert considering the poor seeing in your location, well done.
Melbourne had it's typical 3-4/10 seeing last night and the best shot I was able to get http://www.flickr.com/photos/johnkazanas/175051443/ (did not even bother with extensive processing, simply Registax)
tis indeed the bruce willis of jupiters!!! :P
wel done :)
Very nice Rob
Shame about the seeing but the one thing that stands out is your skill with the processing.
Nice work...as always:thumbsup:
