First attempt at Macro

Picked up a Tamron AF 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD Macro Lens a few weeks back. So this is my first attempt at macro shooting.
Just some images from out in the backyard.

Careful ... Macro should come with a warning: Can be addictive and harmful to your wallet :)

I really like the first pic - how the depth of field makes the centre transparent.

Thanks Geoff :) Yes the lens is only a cheapish lens so I can imagine how much more can be accomplished with the more expensive lenses.
