Hi Danny,

well done, what kind of equipment are you using?

That's pretty good - I thought you would have more field rotation at that sub length? Nice....

Hey Joshua, Yeah I'm using a 10 inch dobsonian reflector synscan goto. For the imaging I've got a Canon 7D mounted with a T-Ring, then I stack it through Deep Sky Stacker & process it through photoshop. Ths telescope is a 1200mm. I wish I had a EQ6 with a ED80 for a cleaner image but I get that down the track. Plus I've only been doing this for about 4 & a half months.

Hey Lee, yeah this image was cropped in a bit, the edges are a bit distorted with the curved mirror.

Great start Danny. Wayne is perfecting his art with similar type gear and great results.

cheers guys, with my photos I rotate the camera about every 5 mins, as having a dobsonian telescope you get field rotation.

Hey Rowland, he I seen Wayne's picture it looks great, do you know how he deals with the field rotation?

You will have to ask him Danny. He is the pro. Not my area of expertise. Although I would like to give it a go
