My battery that I run the NJP mount and three dew heaters off, ran out
at around 3.30am before I could get the LRGB for the Helix. Some high fog/cloud was drifting over the Helix region just as the power went down so good timing! I guess I will have to do them some other time? It was -5 degC in the dome (LX200GPS temp guage) at 3.30am so I guess it was probably
-6 degC or lower out with the NJP and AP..? Brrrrrr! :cold:

Those are very nice Mike. Love the colours and tight stars in the M4 image and the Helix looks other worldly, quite ethereal in H alpha.

I'm also quite surprised that the core of M4 did not saturate/burn out with L=40 mins?
