I imaged the sun this morning 9:28am NZST while it was still low in the sky but the atmosphere was steady.
Active region AR1818 erupted on the 17th Aug producing a long duration M3 class flare, its remnants can still be seen on the right-hand side of the image.
There is also a nice prominence and filaprom present so hope that you Aussie's can follow it.
Double stacked Coronado SM90 Etalons+BF30+DMK51, 1200 frames best 300 used from a single avi file.
