I've had the Outback Cooler since 2007, I haven't used it since then, but can confirm she fires up when plugged in... I had it attached to my DSI Pro II, I'm not sure if it will fit other DSI models.
If you are using a DSI, and want to give it a go, feel free to have it, would be a shame to toss it, I only use the DSI for a guide cam now.
