You got M16 and M17 down the bottom of the frame as well. Nicely done, Alan!

I'm still processing my data from last weekend. If I'd known how dim NGC 7424 was I might have chosen another target

Cheers,
Rick.

Nicely done Alan. According to astrometry.net:

Your field contains:
Part of the constellation Sagittarius (Sgr)
Part of the constellation Serpens (Ser)
The star Alnasl
The star Media
The star Kaus Borealis
NGC 6383
NGC 6494 / M 23
NGC 6514 / M 20 / Trifid nebula
NGC 6526
NGC 6523 / Hourglass nebula / Lagoon nebula / M 8
IC 4701
NGC 6604
NGC 6611 / Eagle nebula / M 16
NGC 6618 / M 17 / Omega nebula
IC 4715
NGC 6656 / M 22

That only includes named stars and it doesn't know how to report any dark nebulae.

Great shot Al. Its such a rich area with that golden glow. Its hard to imagine that being composed of individual stars.
