Here's part of my famous Ancient Arches image, but only 1 shot from the panorama and re-processed. It's a single 30s exposure, f/2.8, Canon 5DMk2 and Samyang 14mm lens.
The crescent Moon high in the north west provided great lighting to the foreground and lit up the Bungle Bungle domes.
I'll probably re-process the whole panorama one day soon.

That's a great image. The colours are so rich. Interesting the Milky Way is so rich in colour despite the moon. Is that the outback night sky or the processing or both?
5D2 is still a classic camera and turns out the goods.

Greg, the colours are heavily processed. I have shots from the same location and similar moon phase with 5D2 and the RAW looks quite different. Just sayin' ;)

Here's the raw shot, unprocessed except lens profile applied.

Thanks for that. Yes that's what many shots look like. I often marvel at the transformation of CCD deep sky shots from RAW to finished image. Its a tremendous transformation. Thank god for Topaz eh Mike?
