Software to save a load of stacking in photoshop etc.
Stacks multiple images to create startrail pictures or AVI's

It's finally being updated recently, too. The new version does "falling" trails or comet-trails.

The other popular startrails sofware is StarStax:

Excellent, I didn't know it had been updated. I will check that out tomorrow.

Another thing it's good for is stacking lightning pics.
