Jupiter june 2nd (with a 114mm newton)

Hi , it's my first post on this forum.... :) i'm french and i don't speak very good english....:eyepop:

Here are 5 images of Jupiter makes Friday 2nd June,2006.
done with a small Newton 114mm (114/900) and with a TouCam Pro II.
The image processing is made under Iris and Paint Shop Pro 9.

David --> Yes , the jupiter altitude is very low.... but the seeing this night was very good !!!!! and with a small telescope and a little experiment we can done very good things :)

:hi: welcome Guillaume, never would I have imagined that anyone could produce such magnificent images (perfect colour) with such detail using a humble 114mm newtonian... :eyepop: :thumbsup: that was my first telescope more than 25 years ago when I got into Astronomy and I was lucky on occasion if I could see three fuzzy and faint blue-grey bands.

Very nice picture, I am really pleased to see your images because I'm also using a small scope. Seeing the results you are getting encourages me to keep going.
Many of the other posts with fantastic images could be intimidating to small scope users!
