Some clear skies and a collimated 12" SkyWatcher Dobsonian with a Canon EOS 600D chasing the ISS tonight. The second pic is a compilation of every frame of the video the ISS appeared in out of the 4000 or so recorded. Description in the thread below. I modified the ISO and shutter speed on the fly and I think I ended up with 1/2000 sec at ISO 100 at 30fps.
And now...... a video:

Great photo, Tom! Was this tracked using the arrows on the hand controller?

Thanks guys. :) No Dave it was the old fashion push and nudge. I was using the crop video mode and stacked a few frames.

Very cool. I decided to go visual tonight - I guided the scope manually via the finder, while my 6 yo niece and 9 yo nephew watched through the 11 mm eyepiece (109x mag).

Nice one Dave. My 8 yo daughter assisted me by calling out when the ISS passed through the field of view on the live view, so I could readjust my aim through the finderscope. Out of the 4000 or so frames in the video, the ISS appeared in 267 of them, and I stacked them all into one frame in StarTrails. You can see I was biased toward the right of the screen :)
I've attached the result to the original post.

They are breeding!! HAHA! Nice work Tom! I saw it going over while I was 'watering the horse' lol & thought that hopefully someone was capturing it.

Wow, this is really neat!
Thanks for sharing the exposure settings. I see there's another bright pass tomorrow (albeit low altitude)... a good opportunity to give it a go.

Wohoo  A mighty fine result Tom, Glad you got it champ, did you use any barlows for that, looks a great size, plenty of in-focus ones in the composite too, Top stuff
Hope you dont mind Tom, not trying to jack your thread, just matter of interest for others . And didn't think worth starting another thread for this pic !
I had a go also, not with the ED100 F9 this time but with the F4.7 10" newt & 2x barlow, shooting raw stills. Over-estimated the exposure though  Lesson learnt ?

Thanks Bob and Mike. Bob no worries :) Exposure was the key concern with me and as I had minimal time for set up I went for a guess - not too long to get blur, but not too short to get nothing!
Worth a link to your fabulous image here to show what's possible:

New video added to the first post.
