Ellis Beach Sunrise

Just around the corner from Palm Cove (to the North) is Ellis Beach, and as I drove up the Captain Cook Highway I stopped off at almost all the beaches trying to find a nice foreground for the beautiful sunrise which was taking place.

I'm pretty sure this is the beach where Alex Cherney took his photos of the eclipse from.

I love the yacht near the middle of the frame on the horizon - makes me want to jump on board! You might have to look at the large version to see it.

good gosh that was nearly 10 months ago mike!!! I thought H was the one pulling shots out that were almost antique???!! did you go looking for the crocks on the beach?
