I've decided to sell my Tak FS-102 and all the bits that go with it. It's not getting any use here at all so it needs a good home.
I can't give new prices as a comparison but I can give new or approx prices for the Tak TSA-102, except the FS-102 is a true fluorite scope, the TSA is not.

So this kit includes :

Takahashi FS-102 F8 Scope (New TSA102 $3755 OTA only)
Takahashi Camera Angle Adjuster (New $252)
Takahashi 7x50 finder with illuminator and quick release coupling to the scope (New with bracket and illuminator no quick release $509)
Takahashi FS-102/128 F6 Reducer (New $656)
Takahashi Extension tubes to achieve eyepiece/guider focus (New approx $140)
Takahashi 2" Ocular (New approx $80)
Bottle of Tak White touch up paint ($25)
Bart Mask for focusing ($20)
Custom Rings with ADM losmandy style top and bottom plates (New approx $350)
Takahashi Clamshell to suit (New $198)
Skywatcher Travel case for all the bits. (New approx $150)

Also, not shown in the images is a Tak 72mm to M54 threaded adapter which adds 33mm of backfocus to the path. I used to connect a QHY wheel and QHY9 directly to the scope with acceptable results. ($175)

Approx replacement value :- $6135 + shipping

The scope has a few of small paint chips which have been dabbed with the touchup paint and it looks like a previous owner has dropped the reducer so it shows a blemish around the edge of the glass as seen in image 3. This is behind a step down within the reducer, which is also visible in image 3, and is not in the optic path as shown in image 2. It has never caused me any issues at all. The previous owner has also drilled an extra hole on top of the clamshell, I don't know why. It's serial number is 00120 so it's scope 120 made in 2000.

The image circle from this scope can cover an 11002 sensor with ease and the reducer also flattens the image.
Recent shipping quotes run to approx $165 to the eastern seaboard with full insurance cover or approx $60 with no cover.

I'm looking for $2400 for the complete kit + shipping. Firm. No offers thanks.

Price drop.

Here's a few images from this scope.

I won QLD astrofest Photocomp 2 years in a row with images from this scope.
