Bee & Butterfly

Home from work sick with the Flu again today (third day this week).

Couldn't help but grab the camera and stand in the sunshine for a bit when I saw these frolicking around the lavender bush.

Funny, the bee is my least favourite :)

With regards to the bee, it's a good example of the easy sharpness I'm gaining from having moved back to full frame camera. My 7D was usually diffraction limited due to its high density APS-C CCD resulting in it being hard to achieve sharpness easily even though its focusing was brilliant. I found the diffraction limiting quite noticeable especially F/8 and slower. Full frame has given me back a much better matched pixel size :)
