Hi All,
Imaged Saturn very early in the evening of July 22nd. The bright spot in the NNTeB was available but in bright twilight. As is becoming far too frequent, there was considerable scattered cloud coming through quite rapidly. The wash-up of this was that my earliest capture was an abbreviated one and although I can perceive the dark oval (just) there is not enough contrast with the sky still so bright to detect the bright spot.
Have attached the very early R channel along with a latter R, RGB & 742nm IR. The seeing was ordinary and I have over processed to resolve the dark oval which is well defined in the 2nd R & RGB.
Also attached an R & RGB polar projection.
Thanks for looking.
Regards
Trevor
