I loved the branch in contrast against the falls in this shot, captured from Somersby Falls back in early June.

Canon 6D, 24-105mm lens @ 85mm, ISO100, f/14, 5 second exposure.

Thanks for looking!

Yeah that's very cool. It blends into a fairly uniform part of the water background too. Great colors as well.

That's a lovely image Mike. The thumbnail caught my eye. I guess the composition and tones.

Not for me. My eye is drawn to the angle of the rock formation under that branch, not the branch itself. In fact, to ME, the branch is more a confusion point than point of attention. I think it's the motion blur of the branches/leaves at the base area of that branch that distract me more than attract me.

Lovely photo though! Really nice flow of eye, apart from, TO ME, that branch :)

Funnily enough, my eye goes to the branch. The pathway is via the ledge, back to the branch. The waterfall is a side issue and completes the circle in the eye's scan.

Thanks Marc, apprecaite the feedback.

Thanks Rowland!

Thanks Derek - it's been my best and favourite waterfalls shots too. It'll be hard to go back there if it's not full of water now though :)

Thanks Rolf :)

Thanks again Larry.

Thanks for the feedback.
