This is my first go at using my ETX105 and Neximage with 2x Barlow.

I find it very hard to focus and I don't think its sharp.
The seeing was probably average an plenty of light pollution!

486 frames @ 10fps
Processed in Registax3 with default settings.

Hey jakob.

Nice first effort. Plenty of detail at that scale and you've managed not to overexpose. Good work:thumbsup:

Nice to see the ol' NexImage getting a workout.

Onwards and upwards, mate.

Jakob, that's an exceptional first shot at Jupiter. Exposed just right and with good colour. And with an ETX 105... amazing and well done:thumbsup:

I think I'll just chuck in my 8" now and go home.

Ripper of a shot jakob. Looks like the seeing honoured you as well. To be able to get such definition in some of those white spots is fantastic for 105mm. Keep up the great work, and don't get disheartened waiting for the seeing to be as good as that again

It took me a long time to get an image that good...

You realise there's no antidote, don't you?

Thanks to all of you for the concratulatory comments.
I put it down more to beginners luck than knowledge and skills.:)
I really felt I was stabbing in the dark focussing and Registax. I've got to do a lot of learning.
Thanks again for the ecouragement.
Jakob.
