Hello again...:D

I took the image back in the middle of May when the Moon was quite high and close by and again I was never really happy with the result. However, as is the norm, I've now reprocessed this sucker (using my DSS method for green channel compensation "DSS-GCC") and have something which I think is better.

Taken with a QHY8L through the RC8, 11X10 minute subs. The old version is also attached for comparison. but for confusion sake I've not rotated the new version to match...

Which is the new one, Mario? You've managed to show the faint tails in the first image but I prefer the look of the galaxy cores in the second.

I imaged this target last year and it took me 12 tries before I was mostly happy with the processing :lol:

Rick, the first image is the new one. 12 tries... only 10 more to go then!
