Thought id share this...

I found my skysafari (night mode) on my tablet way too bright even on the lowest brightness setting.

So i had a look and found this free app for called Screen Filter. It lets you choose a lower brightness way beyond Androids built-in setting. It works best on AMOLED screens as it gives extra battery life.

That's cool.
I use a similar app called screenDim, you can get the screen seriously dim with that, so dim it's hard to read even in darkness ;)

Nice find Ed, I stupidly put the screen to 2% brightness... then couldn't reset it. Lucky I have a room in my house with no windows. Still wasn't dark enough to see the screen. Very useful app
