We were informed that our branch was going to be relocated to Brisbane and if we wanted to keep our jobs we would have to move. After much discussion with the wife and number crunching I stood on our front veranda and looked up the Milky Way.
We are staying. Never thought someting like that could make up your mind. 14 years is long enough at one job so it is time for something new. Don't feel sorry, the redundancy package is very good and I should have something new very soon. I never realised how much I would miss the skies we get out here. I doubt I could live in the city. I guess it is time to finish the observatory and now I should have the funds.
