A light in the universe

It may be cold down south but us in the north are loving the milky way coming our way with the warm weather.
This is the Lizard lighthouse in Cornwall.
Nikon D600 and Nikon 14-24@14mm, f2.8, iso 5000. A blend or 2 shots, 15sec for the stars and 5sec for the light.

Oh man, this is glorious. The simplicity of your gear and that it is just two shots, combined with the fantastic composition - which includes Andromeda! - makes this a stunner.

It's so damn cold where I am at the moment that I've started dabbling with widefield untracked shots of the nightsky, where I can just set and forget my camera and see what I end up with, so seeing this sort of result from a very sensible setup is very encouraging!

Thanks for the nice comments guys. Andromeda is just lens flare unfortunately and definitely not added by me, I don't normally remove them, I may in future to avoid confusion.
I can't keep up with the processing (500+ so far) as the weather is clear and no moon so I've been out until 3 am the last 3 nights and the forecast is good for a few more yet. I'll catch up when it goes back to our normal rain.
CC is always welcome as there are a lot of you here whose work I admire and follow.

Great shot :) I wish the wall was out the way in the bottom, but I'm guessing that might have been unavoidable?

Thanks for the CC feedback, it is most appreciated. The wall across the bottom is about 3 meters high. Most of it is cropped off and to remove anymore would unbalance the composition too much imo.
