I was feeling lazy tonight so I just put the camera on the mount. No guiding!!! What bliss.
1hr and 35min of 5min subs. Captured using a CDS1100D @ ISO400 using a Tamron 90mm F2.8 Macro lens @ F4.
Stacked in DSS and processed in CS3. :)

Higher res image here.

The high res is beautiful! The little one doesn't do it justice :)

Fantastic! I love the golden colour of the stars in this area.

Great image jjjnettie that Tamron is tack sharp
Do you find there's much difference between taking a lot of exposures and stacking them and just taking one longish one ?
I usually take one exposure of up to 15 mins @ ISO 1600 on a 5DII , I know I'm setting a new low in Lazy but am I missing out on much ?

Thanks
Zane

Nice colour JJJ. Field of view really shows the position of these three nebulae.

Very nice, JJJ! Glad to see you must have missed the 10CH cloud last night.

Wow, astonishing picture, and taken with 'just' a modified 1100D (a cooled 1100D, is that right)? Damn. Thanks for sharing!

This is an excellent Sagittarius star cloud shot JJJ with excellent stars across the frame. Great work for having to not even autoguide either ;)...ahhh imaging laziness, gotta love it
