Well not a very successful first light, but it's a start. Not nice seeing, shot in a big sucker hole close to one edge of the hole, making the seeing el-yucko! Also had the factory across the road pumping tons of smoke which was drifting across the FOV giving me yoyo type transparency, forcing me to come up with a gain setting & sticking with it throughout the captures because I still had to do a mosaic..I did a 9 paner with the DMK21 but I was scared of getting overlap bands with Imerge. It'll come down to 4 panes if I don't get the bands..
Overall, the RAW was too bright (too much gain!) but refer to the variable trans excuse lol so I'm dropping the gamma severely on this final. Straight out of Registax, no processing.
Should add I stuffed up the mosaic, but I don't think I need to:thumbsup:
Onward & upward!

Like the colour John. Still think it is slightly of band, but as I said that will sort its self out the next time you do some imaging with a larger window.

I'll look forward to that Laurie!
Not if I don't know what 'on band' means Ralph..And I don't. I tuned it so I had the most contrasy views..

Thanks Ralph. Normally I'd call myself dumb or stupid here but when you've not dealt with certain terms etc....Cheers.

You'll love it Mark. Leaves the PST for dead but it was my mistake for not tuning it correctly for this quick first light. Could do with a few hrs constant Sun with NO damned clouds to sort it all out & become comfortable.
