too short dew heater band cable

Hello, I bought a dew heater band for my RC8 and it only just reaches the plug socket. Anyone any ideas about extending the cable cheaply?

They are terminated with RCA plugs, so a plug, socket and length of 2 core from Jaycar or its clones should be fine.

They might not carry enough current but you can probably pick up a mono extension cable at any audio shop.

As Andrew indicated, I use an RCA connector plug (female to female) and just add an RCA cable (male to male) to bridge the gap.

Works for me.
