Finally some clear skies in Sydney and a chance to try out my new (second hand) Skywatcher 120/600 f5.
Added some more data to M16 and had a quick go at M27.
First time imaging M27 and I can't believe how bright it is!

M16:
5x10min Ha + 5x10min OIII + 7x10min SII through SW ED80
1x5min Ha + 13x5min OIII + 20x5min SII through SW 120/600 f5

M27:
6x3min Ha + 7x3min OIII + 3x3min SII + 4x5min SII through SW 120/600 f5

Great looking photos Hugh.

You've captured some very nice detail.

Imaged from Rushcutters Bay!...I'm impressed.
I work at Rushcutters Bay so I know you're practically in the heart of the city..wow!

Ross.

Thanks Ross!

I set up on the big balcony at work in Rushcutters (the big building on Boundary st, you'd know it :D)
Makes it so easy to setup/pack up and I can sit inside in the warmth while it's imaging :)
