Saw some examples of these panoramas so I thought I'd give it a go.

They're easy to do and I think the effect is cool; basically it's just converting a 360 panorama into a circular image by mapping to polar coordinates.

Nice one and what software did you use to stitch the panorama and then do polar?

Hugin was used to stitch the panorama and then GimpShop to map to polar coordinates. Both are free.

Photoshop can do it too. It's "File>Automate>Photomerge" and "Filter>Distort>Polar Coordinates" but PS seems to choose where to start the panorama (in Photomerge). So Hugin gives me more control.
