This is the first test of the modified rig in RGB. I was dodging thin and thick cloud. I managed to get 6x4 min red, 4x4 min green and 5x4min blue.

The camera was at -40C and RBI flush was used.

Full res image 10MB

This is only a quick stretch etc.

Here is an unstretched 16 bit tiff as a zip file for you all to play with. 60MB

This is good indication of how fast the RH200 really is. It looks like making large mosaics in RGB will be quite quick depending on the noise level that is tolerated.

Not too bad.

Full res could look better, too much green in the background and very noisey. :)

Bart never be scared to give an opinion. It is immaterial whether you are correct or not.

I did say it was only a quickie process.

Gradients are a pain at my light polluted site.

Your version is quite good if not a tad too colourful. That is all personal taste of course.

If you want me to put up a full res version of your image on my download site just email me a jpg a bit smaller than 10MB.

I prefer your original processing Bert. You've got that rig performing well.

A great wide field photo Bert.

Sharp, detailed and nice composition.

All the colour versions look good...so subjective.

Ross.
